The Believer and God's Moral Law

A logical question to ask, in reference to God’s Moral Law in the life of the believer is: “If I am dead to the Law, as Romans 7:4-6 says the believer is, why does there have to be any more consideration of the Law?” That is a reasonable question that Paul answers from Romans 5:1-8:4. Just as “in Christ” the believer is “dead to sin”, but sin is not dead to them – so here, “in Christ” the believer is “dead to the Law”, but the Law is not dead to them. Why does this matter? Our understanding of this principle is vital to our living out what God has worked in! “The Believer and God’s Moral Law” is taken from Romans 7:7-13.
