The Lesson of Christ

Paul’s epistles have a pattern that are important to our understanding what he is teaching us. They are “frontloaded” with doctrinal truth and are “backloaded” with practical application. The transition between the two is usually introduced by the words “therefore” or “wherefore”. In Ephesians, it is the word “therefore” (4:1). Last week we began talking about “fellowship” within the church – and God’s desire for “oneness” among His redeemed people. We’ll continue that theme today. “The Lesson of Christ” is taken from Ephesians 4:20-32.
