It is hard for us to imagine that any one of Christ’s friends and followers would be upset with Him during His earthly ministry. Others were deeply disappointed with His response to their present need. Some even dared to rebuke Him! We comfort ourselves with the assurance that we would never do such a thing! Oh, really?? We will look again at John 11 and see if we have any of the attitudes toward Christ that His followers did after the death of Lazarus. “Lord, if You had been here…” – 2 is taken from John 11:1-57.
