Not every person highlighted in the biblical narrative would be one that we would have chosen! Jacob would probably be one of them for most of us. But the fact is that we are told his story from before birth, to his death! Over 55% of the foundational book of the Bible, Genesis, is taken up with Jacob’s immediate family.
