Homework for a Growing Faith

In a time when people’s “feelings” seem to be the determining factor in the choices they make in their life, even among those who claim to be saints, some might find it surprising to know that the Lord teaches us that something else is to be of supreme priority in the lives of His children! Throughout the month of February we are going to be talking about another spiritual discipline for God’s children: “Growing in Knowledge”. Nowhere in Scripture does God put a premium on ignorance – but again and again He encourages us to “know” certain things of spiritual benefit. Today’s message is entitled “Homework for a Growing Faith” and is taken from Hosea 4:6.
