Demas Has Deserted Me

Every person here today is the sum total of the choices they have made in their lives, because life is about choices! Even a circumstance of life we have no control over (our parents; siblings; authorities over us; etc.) will place us in a position of having to make choices in terms of our response to those relationships. We must make choices in terms of the cultural influence in our life, too. That has been so from the beginning. Paul had a very close companion who felt the pull of the culture in his life – and chose badly! The devastating effect of worldliness is our subject. “Demas Has Deserted Me” is taken from II Timothy 4:9-10.
