God's Intended Blessing

This month we are going to be considering the fact that “Jesus is greater than our Personal Plans”. Though that seems obvious, in the day-to-day happenings of our life we can lose sight of the fact that God also has plans for us. When we forget that, life can be very confusing and frustrating! In our text, Judah has been taken into Babylonian captivity, and her cities have been laid waste. The Jews left behind are in despair and the captives don’t understand their circumstance. How were they to plan for the future? At the front end of this greatest of trials in their lives, the Prophet Jeremiah writes them a letter in which he advises them and encourages them concerning their present and future. “God’s Intended Blessing” is taken from Jeremiah 29:11.
