The Commitment of Josiah

The Old Testament is a treasure trove of illustrations for New Testament truths. These illustrations are often to be seen in the lives of the characters the Lord introduces us to. Last week we looked at “Elijah’s Reasonable Proposition” to the Jewish people. If they were convinced that He was God, then serve Him! It was a call to personal commitment of their lives. Today we’ll look at a little-known Bible character who made that choice. What did it look like and what did it involve? “The Commitment of Josiah” is taken from II Chronicles 34:31.
