Awaiting the General Assembly

Our theme for this month has been “Jesus is Over His People”. Today I would like to conclude these messages with a reminder to us that there is coming a day when all of Christ’s redeemed will be together and worship Him in harmony, and eternally! Each person who has known the power of Christ’s work of redemption is to live their lives with that day in mind. As we look forward to that great day, there are some instructions given to us that I want us to look at this morning. “Awaiting the General Assembly” is taken from Hebrews 12:22-29 and II Timothy 2:19.
