HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

We want to wish all of the ladies in our congregation with children a blessed and memorable Mother’s Day. It has become popular in recent years for the role of mother’s to be dismissed in our culture, in favor of aspiring to “the more important” business of seeking success in the marketplace. President Harry Truman was once asked what the greatest power of a President was. Mr. Truman wisely replied, “Influence!” That is also the greatest power a mother has in the life of her child. We’ll talk about that in the message today. “A Mother’s Influence” is taken from I Samuel 1.
