Contrary to popular opinion, the Bible elevates the status of women, and of mothers in particular. They are recognized for their hard work; lauded for their wisdom; and held up as examples of extraordinary faith. Solomon, the wisest man that ever lived, has some advice for us concerning our response to our mother’s instruction. That is the basis of the message today. “Not Forsaking Your Mother’s Law” is taken from Proverbs 1:8.
