Lessons from My Father

All of us have people in our lives that have served to make us the people we are today. For most of us, one of the great influences that have shaped our lives is our father. That is certainly the case in my life. On this Father’s Day, I want to speak about the importance of a father in the life of his child by using my own father as an example. We don’t choose our parents, but we do choose how we respond to the lessons they teach us – whether those lessons are good or bad. “Lessons from My Father” will begin at Proverbs 1:8a.
