Why We Gather

We have designated this day as “Back to Church Sunday” – and we are so glad you’ve joined us! As we anticipate the return of our Lord, it is important that we meet together regularly. In our busy age the significance of the local church, in the minds of many who profess faith in Christ, is of diminishing value! There are just too many other things to occupy our mind and heart. Much of that has to do with a misunderstanding of the church’s purpose. I want to look at this troubling phenomenon to-day: “Why We Gather” is taken from Acts 2:42.
