Missions is the Mission

Next Sunday is our Mission Emphasis Sunday, a day set aside to remind our church family of our individual responsibility to reach those “in the regions beyond” us with the gospel.
Our church family sup-ports 11 different missionary families or projects throughout the world. Each family or project receives $150.00 a month in support from us. I’d really like us to take on more missionaries this year, but that will depend on our mission giving.
In preparation for next week’s emphasis, I’ll be talking about missions today. “Missions is the Mission” will begin in Acts 1:8.
